SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A building fire in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood left one person injured and displaced 37 others Thursday night.
Firefighters responded just after 7 p.m. to the fire on O’ Farrell Street.
They were able to bring the fire under control about an hour later.
The American Red Cross will activate an emergency shelter with the human services agency to aid those displaced at the Gene Friend Recreation Center in San Francisco.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
