A 62-acre brush fire that broke out in Santa Clara County Sunday afternoon is 90-percent contained, according to fire officials.
The blaze, called the Park Fire, erupted around 1 p.m. off Monterey Road and Coyote Creeks Golf Drive, in between San Jose and Morgan Hill.
There were no injuries reported and no structures were threatened.
A stretch of Highway 101 was shut down due to smoke conditions but later reopened.
Fire investigators say the blaze started on the grass and extended into the creek and then spread south.
