A man arrested for homicide in Brentwood is now charged in the murder of his own mother.
Police were first called to a Brentwood home on Tuesday after receiving calls of possible residential burglary and cars being burglarized.
When police arrived, they found Marta Redmond dead on the bathroom floor.
Now, her son Matthew has been charged.
He will be in court on Monday.
