CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) – Police have responded to a shooting at the site of a church in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, but are not saying if there are casualties.
The address where police say the shooting took place is that of the Emanuel AME Church.
Charleston police are saying the shooting occurred about 9 pm at 110 Calhoun Street.
Police are saying on Twitter that they’re looking for a 21-year-old white male. No other information was immediately available.
