VALLEJO (KRON) — As bizarre details emerge about the mysterious kidnapping hoax of Denise Huskins, her boyfriend Aaron Quinn decided to lawyer up and plans on holding a press conference this afternoon.AUDIO: “I’m kidnapped, otherwise I’m fine” says Huskins in released audio

In a statement released by his attorneys, “The purpose of this press conference is to dispel the misinformation that has been widely reported to date.  It is out intent to set the record straight about the terrible events that took place on Monday, March 23rd.”

Quinn claimed that his girlfriend had been violently kidnapped from their home in the middle of the night, but waited several hours before reporting it to police.

“It was such an incredible story, we initially had a hard time believing it,” Vallejo police Lt. Kenny Park said of the abduction report from boyfriend Aaron Quinn. “Upon further investigation we couldn’t substantiate any of the things he was saying.”

Quinn’s attorneys hope to “repair the damage being done to MR. Quinn personally and professionally.”

“There seem to be a stream of blatant lies about our client,” his lawyer said.
