SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — San Francisco police have released the booking photo of a filmmaker arrested in a San Francisco homicide on Monday night.
Investigators arrested filmmaker Kevin Epps, 48, in connection with the homicide and for being a felon in possession of a firearm. He was booked into San Francisco County Jail Monday evening.
Police are investigating a residential shooting, resulting in the death of one man in San Francisco’s Glen Park neighborhood.
According to police, around 1:34 p.m. officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 100 block of Addison Street.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 40-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. When SF fire department paramedics arrived, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The SFPD Homicide unit is investigating the fatal shooting.
