NOVATO (KRON) — Observant neighbors brought Marin County Sheriff’s Office for the second time in two weeks.
43-year old Laureen Mason and 33-year old Robert Speer were both arrested on February 13 by the Marin County Sheriff’s Office.
With help from the University of California Berkeley Bomb Technicians, the sheriff’s office was able to locate 87 bombs in Mason’s bedroom, and another 4 in her car.
Also collected at the scene was potassium perchlorate, aluminum powder. In addition, suspected crystal methamphetamine was located.
Mason and Speer were both charged with possession of an explosive device.
Mason was also charged with igniting an explosive device with intent to intimidate and child endangerment.
This wouldn’t be the last run-in Mason had with MCSO.
