MILPITAS (BCN) — A body found at a recycling facility in Milpitas last week has been identified as 40-year-old transient Lam Bao Tran, according to the Santa Clara County medical examiner’s office.
Tran’s body was found at Newby Island Resource Recovery Park located at 1601 Dixon Landing Road on Jan. 6, according to San Jose police.
While the facility’s address is in Milpitas, it is considered to be within San Jose city limits, according to police.
Police said last week that the death has not been classified as a homicide.
The facility is owned by waste management provider Republic Services, according to the company’s website.
