SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) A man whose body was found floating in a lake in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park on Wednesday morning has been identified as 45-year-old Joseph Munoz, according to the San Francisco medical examiner’s office.

Munoz has a Sausalito driver’s license but appears to have lived in San Francisco, according to the medical examiner’s office.

Police were notified at 7:57 a.m. Wednesday of the body in the water in South Lake, near Chain of Lakes Drive East and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, police spokeswoman Officer Grace Gatpandan said.

The medical examiner’s office responded to determine how the person died. There is no indication of foul play, but homicide has not been ruled out, Gatpandan said.
