TOMALES POINT (KRON) — The Marin County coroner’s office has identified the fourth man killed in a boating accident in April as 39-year-old David Breeden of Windsor.

On Sunday, around 4:45 p.m, the National Park Service called the coroner’s office to tell them that they had found a man’s body about two miles south of Bird Rock on the shoreline of Point Reyes National Seashore.

A helicopter brought the body of the man, later identified as Breeden to Pierce Point Road, where officials with the coroner’s office were waiting.

Breeden was boating with three other people near Bodega Bay on April 17 when they were reported missing. The next day their 21-foot recreational fishing boat was found overturned on rocks near Tomales Point.

The three other boaters were identifies as Diane Kelly, 61, and Ryan Viall, 28, both of Windsor, and Richard Hargreaves Jr., 59, of Santa Rosa.

U.S. Coast Guard officials said they did not receive a distress signal from the vessel and investigators do not know what happened to the boat.
