OAKLAND (KRON) — A big-rig fire on the right-hand side of the road is blocking the No. 3 and 4 lanes on Northbound 880 near Coliseum Way, according to the CHP.
The CHP said the truck is completely destroyed. The fire was reported just after 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Fire crews are at the scene of the fire.
No word on when the accident may be cleared.
The CHP said there were no injuries, and the driver of the truck got out safely.
According to KRON4’s live traffic maps, there is a 27-minute delay from San Leandro to Oakland on 880, as of 4:20 p.m.
