Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety is investigating a deadly hit-and-run involving a bicyclist on Saturday afternoon.
Around 1:40 p.m., officials arrived to the scene of a reported crash in the area of Central Expressway and Pajaro Avenue.
When emergency officials arrived, they found a man injured who was then transported to Stanford Hospital.
The man then passed away due to his injuries.
Santa Clara County Medical Examiner Office has not verified the man’s identity at this time.
The vehicle that fled the scene is described as a 2004-2006 maroon or red Toyota Sienna minivan, according to police.
Police say the van has front fender and windshield damage.
