(KRON/BCN) — U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders will make several campaign stops in the Bay Area Monday on the last day before the California presidential primary election.

Sanders, who is fighting for the Democratic presidential nomination against former U.S. Sen. and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, is holding a news conference this morning at the Hilton Garden Inn San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge in Emeryville.

The Emeryville event is not open to the public, but two events in San Francisco later Monday will be.

At 3 p.m., Sanders will appear for a GOTV Canvass Kick-Off event at City College of San Francisco’s Mission Center at 1125 Valencia St. Also appearing are special guests Dr. Cornel West, U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii, former Ohio state Sen. Nina Turner and Bay Area actor and political activist Danny Glover.

At 5 p.m., Sanders is scheduled to appear at a GOTV Concert featuring Dave Matthews, Oakland’s Fantastic Negrito, Fishbone, John Dexter Stewart and numerous special guests at Crissy Field in the Presidio.
