OAKLAND (BCN) — Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders will hold two events in Oakland on Monday, his campaign announced on Friday.

At 2 p.m. on Monday, Sanders will join actor Danny Glover and San Francisco Supervisor Jane Kim for what his campaign describes as “a community conversation” at Allen Temple Baptist Church at 8501 International Blvd. in Oakland.

At 4 p.m. on Monday, the Vermont senator will speak at a rally at Frank Ogawa Plaza in front of Oakland City Hall in the heart of downtown Oakland.

Sanders will also hold rallies in Santa Barbara, Santa Maria and Bakersfield on Saturday and in Visalia and Fresno on Sunday.

His campaign says that in all of his events in California over the long Memorial Day weekend Sanders “will discuss a wide range of issues, including getting big money out of politics, his plan to make public colleges and universities tuition-free, combating climate change and ensuring universal health care.”
