BELMONT (KRON) — Firefighters were able to keep a house fire from spreading to neighbors Saturday evening.
The fire broke out just after 6 p.m. at a two-story house in the 1600 block of Prospect Street in Belmont.
Crews were able to put the fire out, and had cleared the scene just before 7:30 p.m.
An emergency services dispatcher was not able to give information about whether anybody was hurt in the fire.
Calls to officials at the Belmont Fire Protection District were not returned Saturday evening.
