LOS ANGELES (KRON) – Beauty website, Total Beauty, mistook Whoopi Goldberg for Oprah Winfrey during the red carpet arrivals at the 88th annual Academy Awards.
The site sent out a tweet commenting on a tattoo stating, “We had no idea @Oprah was #tatted, and we love it.”
After Twitter exploded, Total Beauty realized their mistake and deleted the Tweet.
Total Beauty sent out a Tweet apologizing to Oprah and Whoppi. They even decided to donate $10,000 to the two women’s charity of choice.
