Authorities are investigating after a San Francisco restaurant was trashed and a worker allegedly assaulted when seemingly drunk SantaCon partiers wreaked havoc there over the weekend.
Video shows the alleged suspects at Shalimar, a Pakistani restaurant on Polk Street, on Saturday night around 7 p.m.
Taylor Savvy posted the photo and video on Twitter of the assailants after the incident, hoping it would help in identifying the suspects.
“Retweet and help figure out who these drunk #santacon partiers are, they assaulted an employee and trashed my favorite Pakistani restaurant in #SF after they were asked to leave for loitering on Saturday night,” he tweeted.
The first video shows a woman who appears to pick up a chair and break the restaurant’s front door, hitting it several times.
The second video is taken inside the restaurant where another girl allegedly assaulted the cashier and threw a sugar dispenser at him.
“Note extensive damage, register knocked on the floor already,” Savvy captioned the second tweet.
According to Savvy, a police report was filed.
“We have to look out for our community, if you see people doing things like this, don’t let it slide!” he tweeted in an update Monday.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call police.
