Daly City police warn of mountain lion sighting


DALY CITY, Calif. (KRON) – Police officers and the Department of Fish and Wildlife are warning the public after a mountain lion was spotted roaming the streets of Daly City.

Officials spotted the mountain lion near Westmore Avenue and Baldwin Avenue Monday afternoon.


“Use caution leaving your house,” police tweeted.

On Tuesday police alerted the public that the mountain lion moved from the area it was last seen.

“We have no way to track its current location. Please report any sightings to the Dept. of Fish & Wildlife or call 911 if there’s an immediate community safety concern,” police tweeted.
