A motorcycle accident is making the Bay Bridge commute even worse than usual Monday morning.
A crash involving a motorcycle was blocking three lanes on the incline, just after the toll plaza and before the Treasure Island exit.
The crash has since been cleared, but there are major resiudual delays.
A Traffic Alert has been issued, as crossing the Bay Bridge is taking drivers over 40 minutes.
KRON4’s Robin Winston suggest taking BART into San Francisco instead.
The backup is extending all the way back to the Oakland Maze. Traffic is practically at a stand-still.
There is no word on injuries, or what caused the crash.
Stay with KRON4 for updates.
