DISCOVERY BAY (KRON) — The Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Department is searching for two men believed to be the perpetrators in an armed bank robbery Thursday morning in Discovery Bay.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to the alleged robbery just before 10 a.m. at a bank on the 14800 block of State Route 4.
A witness told authorities she saw two men run into the bank and run out a short time later, carrying a backpack and a handgun.
The sheriff’s department said the two suspects were last spotted running toward a car and leaving the scene, traveling north on Bixler Road.
Those with information on the bank robbery are asked to contact the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Department.
