At least seven arrests were made in Oakland in connection with dozens of Apple store thefts in and around the Bay Area.
Police made the arrests Tuesday night, according to a KRON4 source.
Emeryville and Santa Rosa are the most recent stores to be hit by the grab and run thieves.
On Sunday, thieves stole $35,000 worth of electronics from the Santa Rosa Plaza location.
Then on Tuesday, at the Emeryville store on Bay Street, about eight people grabbed an unknown amount of products and ran.
About a month ago, Corte Madera’s Apple Store was also hit by a group of young men.
Authorities did not provide any further details on the arrest.
The California Department of Justice will release more information on Thursday.
