SAN JOSE, Calif. (KRON) — Police responded to a barricaded man in the 1500 block of June Ave in San Jose.
The San Jose Police Department said they received a report around 7 a.m. Tuesday about a man pointing a gun at a neighbor.
Around 1:00 p.m. police on the scene used a ‘noise flash diversionary device’, which produces a loud bang.
Around 5:30 p.m. the suspect was taken in custody and will be booked into jail.
“It will take us some time to secure from this scene. To the local residents affected by this incident, we thank you for your patience,” San Jose media relations tweeted.
