Police in San Jose have arrested a suspect for vandalizing a veterans memorial earlier this month.
The vandalism happened back on May 6 at the memorial located at Almaden Boulevard and Park Avenue.
The suspect, identified as 39-year-old Martin Ruiz Vivanco of San Jose, used the name “Snip” in his graffiti on the memorial.
Vivianco was taken into custody May 23 and booked into Santa Clara County Jail for felony vandalism and possession of vandalism tools.
