New video released from the Vallejo Police Department shows the moments leading up to a deadly police shooting in Feb. 2018.
The video is of Ronnell Foster being tased before the shooting happened at Marin and Florida Streets.
Officials say Officer McMahon saw Foster riding a bike and weaving around.
McMahon allegedly tried to stop Foster several times but says he kept riding away from him.
Police say McMahon eventually caught up to Foster and that is when he says a struggle ensued.
A taser was deployed but officials say it didn’t work. McMahon says Foster took a flashlight from his hand and raised it back towards McMahon.
That is when the officer shot and killed Foster.
The Vallejo Police Department has completed it’s internal investigation and it’s now being submitted to the Solano County District Attorney.
