Police are searching for a suspect with an active warrant for his arrest Monday.
According to the Fremont Police Department, there is police activity in the area of Mission San Jose in the area of Jerome and Anza.
The suspect, who fled on foot from detectives and hopped a fence, is described as a Hispanic man, 6’1″, 230 pounds.
He was wearing a white jersey, black shorts, and white shoes/socks.
Mission San Jose Elementary is on precautionary shelter-in-place.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
