PLEASANTON, Calif. (KRON) — A single-family home caught on fire Monday morning in Pleasanton.

A garage fire was reported at 4:21 a.m. All residents left the building when the fire started, police said.
The home suffered extensive smoke and fire damage. Officials say the house is in an uninhabitable state after the fire.

The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department controlled the fire within 30 minutes of their arrival.

Officials reported the cause of the fire remains unknown.

No residents and firefighters were injured during the fire, officials said.

The Pleasanton Police Department tweeted that the investigation is ongoing.
