SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – As police are investigating the Orinda Halloween shooting, it has led them to the arrests of suspects connected to other crimes.

Authorities said Friday that two arrests have been made in connection with the deadly Halloween shooting case in Orinda that claimed the lives of 5 people.

The ATF made the two arrests Thursday on warrants relating to the Orinda shooting case.

The two arrested have been identified as 29-year-old Domico Dones, of Martinez, and 29-year-old Frederick Johnson.

Dones and Johnson were arrested for first degree murder, according to sources.

Both suspects reportedly had warrants out for their arrest connected to the murders in Orinda.

While both raids were done in conjunction with the Orinda shooting investigation, their charges are not connected to that particular shooting at this time, police say.

ATF seized a firearm, which they say was connected to Johnson and several shootings in the Bay Area.

The Contra Costa County DA sent out a press release Friday afternoon with additional details relating to the arrests.

The DA filed two felonies against Dones: possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition.

Dones has a prior felony conviction for second degree robbery in Santa Clara County, per officials.

On Thursday, Dones was arrested for being in possession of a Glock 22 .40 Caliber handgun with a laser scope and ammunition in his possession.

He is set to be arraigned on Monday, Nov. 25 in Martinez.

Officials say more information will be released later today.

The arrests come a day after the ATF had announced a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible in the Halloween night shooting at an Airbnb mansion in Orinda.

Five men were arrested in connection with the shooting, but four of them have since been released from custody after the Contra Costa County DA announced it would not be filing charges against them.

One of the 5 suspects remains in jail for unrelated charges.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
