LIVERMORE (KRON) — Livermore police need help identifying three suspects who held up a store clerk at gunpoint.

It happened last night at an ampm in Livermore.

Store employees are shaken up from the whole encounter so they declined to speak to KRON4 on camera.

But they did say the robbery was rare and unexpected, especially for this area.

In all six years the owner had this store, he says this is by far the most violent crime he’s experienced.

Three suspects armed with handguns stormed into the convenience store Tuesday night, causing quite the shake up in the quiet Livermore neighborhood.

“Shocking,” said one customer. “It’s kind of a family neighborhood. Close knit group.”

Livermore police say the suspects got away with cash, tobacco products and the clerk’s cell phone at the ampm off Rincon Avenue.

“It’s a serious felony,” said Arturo Rosas with the Livermore Police Department. “It’s a violent crime and it’s something we don’t tolerate at all.”

Now police want the public’s help identifying the three men.

“They were light skin males. We’re uncertain of their ages specifically and we’re assuming they may have been of Hispanic descent.”

After robbing the store, police say the three took off down Pine Street in a black older model Toyota Corolla.

Thankfully no one was hurt.

Police say they’ve already received tips but continue to look for new information. If you recognize those suspects, contact the Livermore police.
