SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (KRON) — A large sinkhole forced closures near a San Francisco freeway Thursday afternoon.
The I-280 at 6th street off-ramp was closed due to a large sinkhole near the bottom of the elevated off-ramp.
Caltrans responded to the scene and crews worked to repair the sinkhole.
Around 6:20 p.m., Caltrans completed emergency repairs and the lane reopened.
