SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – A big storm prompted weather officials to issue a Flood Advisory for parts of the Bay Area Thursday.
Commuters drove through heavy rain and gusty winds Thursday morning as the storm dumped rain over the Bay.

The heaviest of rain should diminish toward noon across the Bay Area, setting us up for sunshine between isolated, lingering showers later in the day.
Temperatures will remain a little cooler in the low 50’s, wind a brisk wind making temperatures feeling even cooler than they area.
Showers linger in the forecast into Friday, but don’t expect Friday’s rain to be like today’s.
A Flood Advisory remains in effect until 10:45 a.m. for the following areas:
- SE Marin
- NW Alameda
- NW San Mateo
- West Central Contra Costa
- SF County

- WB 580 JWO COOLIDGE in Oakland
- SB 280 JNO CESAR Chavez in San Francisco
- WB 4 JEO ALHAMBRA in Martinez
- NB 280 JSO 92 in Belmont
- WB 80 JEO The Carquinez Bridge
- SB 101 JSO Marin City in Sausalito
PG&E reported outages include almost 1,000 affected customers at of noon:
- San Francisco – 205
- North Bay – 58
- East Bay – 169
- South Bay – 290
- Peninsula – 249
