RICHMOND (KRON) – A brush fire broke out Thursday afternoon in the area of Point Isabel in Richmond.
The fire started at around 12:37 p.m. and was contained by 2 p.m.
It appears that the fire was burning along the Bay Trail near Interstate 580.
The Richmond Fire Department says the fire burned about three acres.
No evacuations orders were issued and no injured were reported.
The fire sent smoke pouring over parts of the Easy Bay.
