SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (KRON) — Dozens of people are protesting police brutality in San Francisco following the death of George Floyd.
This comes after a night of violence in Oakland where crowds smashed windows, looted stores and set fires.
Video from the Saturday afternoon demonstration in San Francisco shows a crowd peacefully protesting.
Protesters then marched along Market Street, chanting things like “No justice, no peace.”
People also stopped at the Mission District Police Station in San Francisco, shouting, “Hands up, don’t shoot”. Many of them were on their knees with their arms raised up.

By 3:30 p.m., the crowd made it to Harrison Street at Main Street, just a few blocks from the entrance of the Bay Bridge, where they were met by police.
Less than an hour later, the protesters made it to Harrison at First Street, where the Bay Bridge onramp is located.
Police appear to be blocking the protesters from getting on the bridge, however the Bay Bridge’s onramp and offramp are blocked.
