House fire in San Jose displaces four residents

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KRON) – Four people were displaced by a 2-alarm house fire on the 5800 block of Hillview Ave in San Jose Monday.

Of the four, one person was taken to the hospital.

The fire was reported around 3:24 p.m., and firefighters were able to control it about an hour and a half later.

Both units of the duplex were impacted, according to SJFD.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
