Crews contain apartment complex fire in Oakland

OAKLAND, Calif. (KRON) — Crews have contained a fire Wednesday afternoon at an apartment complex in Oakland, Oakland Fire Department tweeted.

Authorities confirmed five residents were displaced, but no injuries were reported.

Early stages of the investigation shows the fire was accidental and started in the kitchen.

The apartment complex is located at 2124 90th Ave.
