SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (KRON) – A brush fire broke out on Yerba Buena Island, near the Bay Bridge in San Francisco, on Saturday afternoon.

Around 4:36 p.m., San Francisco Firefighters tweeted that crews were able to control the fire.

Fire officials say there was no injuries and no structures involved.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time.

According to the CHP, the eastbound Interstate-80 off-ramp at Treasure Island Road was closed.

No other details have been released at this time.
