UPDATE: Trains now moving through all stations – Expect residual delays up to 30 minutes

BART is experiencing major delays at all San Francisco stations Tuesday morning, according to BART officials.

Trains are not moving through 24th St. Station at all due to “smoldering debris,” officials said on Twitter.

There were flames under the tracks between 24th St. Station and 16th Mission Station.

About 100 passengers on the platforms and on trains between the stations were evacuated.

There are significant delays at all other stations in San Francisco.

The fire is out, but officials are still telling riders to use alternate methods of transportation if traveling through San Francisco.

Crews are conducting a track inspection.

Service will be limited from the East Bay to Montgomery Stations.

No further details were released.
