Alameda County Sheriff’s deputies have detained two possible suspects in an Oakland shooting on Wednesday, police said.
Gunshots were heard in the area of Ninth and Jackson streets.
A man was found shot at least once.
The two were detained on Eighth and Oak Street.
“Deputies assigned to patrol the Peralta College District were in the area at the time of the incident. Their quick response got aid to the victim and 2 potential suspects were detained. We are thankful for their work. OPD will be primary in this investigation,” deputies said on Twitter.
