Parts of the Bay Area saw scattered showers Sunday afternoon, but a stronger push of rain isn’t expected until Christmas Eve.
KRON4 metrologist Mabrisa Rodriguez says light to moderate rain activity arrives early Monday morning and will last through Christmas morning.
Another round of king tides also returns to the San Francisco coast on Monday which may trigger coastal flooding.
A coastal flood advisory goes into effect Monday at 10 a.m. through 2 p.m.
