SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The Friends of Faith Walk is taking place in Oakland on Saturday morning.
The Faith Fancher Breast Cancer Challenge is a 5k walk (or run) that the entire family can attend.
Faith Fancher was an award-winning reporter. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1997. She formed the organization to raise money for low income women with breast cancer who lack health care resources.
KRON 4 News is one of the many sponsors of the event.
