OAKLAND (KRON) — BART has resumed transbay service between San Francisco and Oakland after crews had to remove a truck from the tracks.
Around 7:40 pm, an vehicle entered the track way between West Oakland and 12th Street stations, said BART spokesman Taylor Huckaby.
BART closed the West Oakland station and shut down service between San Francisco and Oakland.
The vehicle did not collide with the train. No injuries have been reported.
Service was halted in both directions, Huckaby said.
BART is providing bus service between the San Francisco Transbay Terminal and the 19th Street Oakland Station.
Around 9 p.m., BART announced service has resumed at the West Oakland station.
