San Francisco (KRON) BART has repaired the broken 10 inch piece of track in San Francisco. Service has been restored. The problem was discovered shortly after 9:30 a.m. on the eastbound trackway between the Civic Center and 16th Street Mission stations, BART officials said. BART says it doesn’t know how the track broke. The repair is temporary until a permanent fix can be put in place later tonight.
