BART has announced that they are recovering and service has been restored at the Castro Valley Station.
Train service was temporarily stopped at the station due to a reported ‘major medical emergency.’
Beginning around 6:21 p.m. there was a report of a person being on tracks, according to BART officials.
However, once the train service was stopped, there was no sign of anyone on the tracks.
Officials have since reported that as of 7:17 p.m. a body has been found under the train.
A bus shuttle was available to passengers on ac transit bus #93.
