BART police arrested a suspect who was possibly involved in a hoax bomb threat at the 19th Street Station Saturday.
The bomb threat was reported around 12:42 p.m. and the station was evacuated immediately.
Trains were also held out of the station as authorities searched for the bomb.
No bomb was found, according to officials.
Police arrested 39-year-old Artis Thurmond on charges unrelated to the bomb threat, but they are investigating Thurmond’s possible involvement.
The investigation is ongoing.
