ALAMEDA COUNTY (BCN) — Alameda County residents can learn about forthcoming BART developments and voice feedback in a “telephone town hall” event held by the transit agency Wednesday evening.

BART’s general manager Grace Crunican, along with BART board directors, will discuss the agency’s plan to rebuild and reinvest in the 44-year-old system. BART riders will also be allowed to ask questions and

provide input.

Those who wish to participate in the 6:30 p.m. meeting can call (877) 353-4701. Tonight’s meeting will feature a Spanish simulcast at (855) 312-2107.

Participants can register to receive a phone call that will automatically connect them to the event at https://tthm.wufoo.com/forms/better-bart-teletownhall-signup/.

The meeting will also be streamed live at http://cast.teletownhall.us/web_client/?id=BART.

Two more telephone town hall meetings are planned for other counties served by BART.

San Francisco residents can participate in the meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 15, and Contra Costa County residents can call in at the same time on Oct. 4.
