OAKLAND (KRON) — BART officials are reminding commuters they need to make other travel arrangements between the Fruitvale and Coliseum stations weekends between April and August as transit workers make repairs.
The first closure is scheduled for Sunday, but according to BART officials they won’t schedule work during Golden State Warrior playoff games.
BART will have buses available to take riders between the Fruitvale and Coliseum stations during the times track work is being done.
The buses will be free of charge, but riders can expect the bus ride to add 30 to 60 minutes to their travel time.
