Reynoldsburg, OH. (KRON) – A woman in Ohio has been arrested for the death of an 8-month-old child after she allegedly gave him too much Benadryl, according to police.
Lori Conley, 43, was arrested Friday and charged with murder and child endangering.
On May 13, police received a report of an unresponsive infant at around 2:20 p.m.
When medics arrived at Conley’s home on Hammon Drive, they immediately transported the baby to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Franklin County Coroner said Conley gave the 8-month-old a “lethal dose” of Benadryl.
Conley had allegedly given the baby Benadryl to put him to sleep, according to police.WCMH contributed to this report
