Sheriff’s Detectives are investigating the suspicious deaths of two people found in a west Petaluma home Monday.
According to the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office, the bodies of two people were found inside the home in the area of Roblar and Orchard Station Road.
Authorities had gone to the home on a welfare check after a woman had called authorities asking them to check on her sister.
The woman told authorities she had not seen her sister and husband in about a month.
She also noted the grass was “excessively tall” and mail had been accumulating in the mailbox, according to officials.
Authorities have determined the deaths of both to be suspicious in nature.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office at 707-565-2121.
