PLEASANTON (BCN) — An at-risk 16-year-old boy from Pleasanton has been missing since 7:50 a.m., police said.

Christopher Bynum, described as black, 6 feet 1 inch tall and 135 pounds, is a student at Village High School.

Christopher had been staying at a friend’s house for the last three weeks when he went missing, police said.

Christopher has no cellphone or vehicle, police said. He likes to frequent the downtown Pleasanton parks and walk along the railroad tracks.

Christopher was last seen walking near the Gatewood Apartments at 3992 Stoneridge Dr. wearing a red and gray t-shirt, blue jeans and sunglasses.

Police asked that anyone who sees a boy matching Christopher’s description call (925) 931-5100 and ask for a watch commander or supervisor, referencing case number 2016-33412.
