A’s President: Port of Oakland votes to enter negotiations for possible ballpark at Howard Terminal

The Port of Oakland has voted to enter negotiations for a possible ballpark at Howard Terminal, according to A’s President Dave Kaval.

Kaval tweeted the news on Thursday afternoon.

The vote was unanimous, Kaval said.

The A’s have played at the Oakland Coliseum since moving to the Bay Area 50 years ago.
