PALO ALTO (KRON) — A 30-year-old Hayward man has been arrested, accused of taking part in an armed robbery at the Fry’s Electronics in Palo Alto.

Police think that David Gandara, and his partner, 24-year-old Jason Fayad of Hayward, stole three gaming consoles at gun-point on the afternoon of January 28.

The three consoles were estimated at $1,200 in value.

According to Palo Alto Police, Gandad pointed a gun at a loss-prevention employee while making his escape from the store.

Palo Alto police had already arrested Fayad back on February 4.

He was charged with robbery and commercial burglary.

While looking for Gandara, police learned he had already been arrested by the San Leandro Police Department.

Gandara was served with the arrest warrant for this robbery while at the Alameda County Jail, where he is in custody on gun and drug charges from the San Leandro arrest.
